The Cameo, introduced in May 2002, was originally intended to be offered as a very limited production model featuring extra-choice woods and lavish appointments. Design work for the Cameo started in mid 2001 and this guitar, the Cameo prototype, was built about one year later – it is the only Cameo model to have ever been produced. Consistently heavy demand for other models has resulted in the suspension of plans to build future Cameo models, and it's likely that this guitar will remain one of a kind. |
